Kelcy, when did you start your blog?
2018
Walk me through how or why you started?
I loved reading lifestyle blogs and travel blogs. However, I wasn’t finding any travel blogs that focused on the art at the destinations. That seemed like a unique niche to use for a blog. The goal was to make a travel blog for design lovers.
Do you feature a specific type of travel or area?
I love blending art and traveling. The blog features destinations worldwide. However, since 2020 I’ve focused more on domestic and local travel.
What is your favorite part about being a blogger?
I love motivating people to step out of their comfort zones. I love providing tips to help them gain the confidence to travel.
What is your favorite or dream destination?
My dream destination is Morocco. I’ve been to the Middle East once, but I can’t wait to experience the culture of Morocco.
What is your favorite travel tip?
Carry ginger candy in case you get an upset stomach.
What other suggestions do you have for travelers?
Take a photo of your passport and email it to yourself.
What suggestions do you have for bloggers or what has been the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome with your blog?
Don’t give up. It’s easy to expect instant results from your blog. But that’s not likely. Consistency is key. But it’s also the hardest thing. It’s worth it though.

I travel while having a chronic illness. This is something that holds many people back from traveling. I hope my blog can be an encouragement to others with chronic illnesses who want to travel.
