Evelina, where are you located?
I am now temporarily located in Athens, Greece. I am coming from Athens, Greece and have been an expat, lived in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
When did you start your blog?
I launched EvBeing in 2018 while I was living in the United Kingdom.
Walk me through how or why you started?
I have been an avid traveller since I remember myself. Since I was working as a multimedia journalist the years before I launch EvBeing, I decided to start my own business and write about what I love the most: Travel!
Do you feature a specific type of travel or area?
EvBeing features detailed travel guides from Europe and the world. We love to travel on a budget. Our niche has to do with budget travel and Greece travel. We also blog about travel experts' interviews, expat tips, cheap flights, economy hotels and blogging advice.
What is your favorite part about being a blogger?
Blogging is a never-ending story. The best of having a travel blog is that makes you feel creative, not to mention the good vibes coming from your readership. One of the things we love about blogging is to be in contact and work together with bloggers from around the world.
What is your favorite or dream destination?
We love doing multi-country trips and exploring vibrant cities but we also love mountaineering. My favourite destination is New York and I would love to travel to Australia and New Zealand.
What is your favorite travel tip?
Mingling with locals when you travel to a new country makes it easier to get to know the city in-depth and explore the local culture and traditions.
What other suggestions do you have for travelers?
EvBeing is here to motivate you to travel the world on a budget. We aim to encourage you to travel solo and inspire you to get out there and travel more. We partner with experienced travel bloggers from around the world and bring you the best travel and expat tips.
What suggestions do you have for bloggers or what has been the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome with your blog?
Firstly, it's highly important to have a niche for your blog and find out what your readers want to read. One of the biggest challenges is to create high-value but unique content. My advice comes with adding value to your reader's lives by your content, focusing on your blog's content, and learn Search Engine Optimization and keyword research at the early stages of blogging.
