Walk me through how or why you started?
I had wanted to start this for quite some time and was encouraged by several people I knew to do so. Everyone knows me as the Travel Queen or Travel expert, and I take tons of photos on my trips. The pandemic was landmark for me in starting this, between my busy life coming to a pause, and me missing all the travels I was able to do when life was normal. Starting this allowed me re-visit everywhere I’ve been and give myself and others hope that we could all travel again soon.
Do you feature a specific type of travel or area?
I travel around the world, and mix my experiences with adventure and relaxation.
What is your favorite part about being a blogger?
Being able to share my thoughts/reflections/experiences and finding others who have done the same or are looking to experience what I’ve been grateful to do.
What is your favorite or dream destination?
South Africa has been on my list for a long time!
What is your favorite travel tip?
Optimize your time when you travel to a place, do everything you want to do because you’ll never know if you’ll get another chance to go back!
What other suggestions do you have for travelers?
Before planning any trip, think about if you want adventure or relaxation, nature vs. history, and who you want to go with to heighten your experience.
What suggestions do you have for bloggers or what has been the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome with your blog?
There’s definitely a lot of travel blogs out there so competition is fierce. I think it’s about figuring out what kind of audience you want coming to your page, and personalizing your content for those followers. From my short while with my account, I know people really appreciate getting to know who I am, not just where I’ve been 😊
