Sara, walk me through how or why you started?
We have always been a family of travelers. It started for fun, but then many people started asking us for tips and vacation planning help, so it just evolved. We have loved every minute of it and look forward to what the future of Cernys’ Journeys looks like.

What is your favorite part about being a blogger?
I love sharing our experiences and tips with people. I have so much energy and passion behind it, so it is just easy and fun for me.
What is your favorite or dream destination?
The list is so long! I haven’t been to South America yet, so I think Brazil and Uraguay are pretty high on my list.
What is your favorite travel tip?
As long as you have access to WiFi you don’t need your mobile service to connect with people back home. WhatsApp is one of our favorite ways to call, text and video while we travel. It is easy and free and as long as you have WIFI you can use it.
What other suggestions do you have for travelers?
Don’t be afraid to explore. The world is a very welcoming place and as long as you have an open mind you will truly have an amazing experience no matter where you are.
What suggestions do you have for bloggers or what has been the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome with your blog?
Be patient! As they say, Rome wasn’t built overnight… same goes for a blog and the income. It takes time and a lot of work.
