Travel is picking up and borders are reopening but there are still requirements travelers should expect around the country and the world. As you start planning and packing, keep these expert travel tips and most recent updates in mind.

On November 8, United States borders will reopen for international travel from 33 countries. These include the United Kingdom, India, China, Brazil, and the EU (Schengen Area). The United States will require a proof of vaccination (your last dose must be 2 weeks before your arrival), and you must provide documentation of a negative COVID-19 test, taken no more than 3 days prior to your arrival in the United States. Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO) websites for additional updates.

As you plan your next trip, whether it’s domestic or international, consider planning in advance. An increase in requests for hotels, short term rentals, flights, and more, have left travelers with limited, sometimes costly options. This is especially prevalent for in demand travel dates, like holidays and school breaks.

Although you cannot always control the costs or availability of your travel dates and plans, one thing you can control is knowing your trip is well protected. Let TravelInsuranceMaster.com make your travel planning process easier, and next trip stress-free, by recommending the best insurance plan for you in just 3 steps. No trip or vacation is the same, and your travel insurance shouldn’t be either. We partner with the world’s leading providers to bring a large variety of plans and benefits to one website. You will be able to clearly compare plans side by side, find your recommended plan and value easily, and complete your purchase, receiving your plan straight to your email.

If you’re traveling to the USA from abroad, you can also protect your trip with some of our newest offerings. Trawick International offers three Limited Plans (Without Trip Cancellation) available to non-US citizens traveling to the USA. These include Safe Travels USA, Safe Travels USA Comprehensive, and Safe Travels USA Cost Saver. Two other plans have also been added for international travelers from anywhere to anywhere but the USA – Safe Travels International and Safe Travels International Cost Saver. To find these plans if available, simply input your travel details on TravelInsuranceMaster.com, and choose the No Trip Cancellation Plan Type on the upper left-hand side menu.

It’s important to remember that a plan with travel medical insurance can fill the gap where your regular health insurance may not offer coverage when you travel abroad. Without travel insurance coverage, if an emergency occurs, you or your family could incur costly medical bills that you may need to pay for out of pocket. In the US, these expenses can add up quickly, and domestic insurance plans do not usually provide coverage for international care. See your specific Plan Details for full description of coverages and benefits.

Travel insurance has become a fundamental part of any trip, and with the right benefits, you will be prepared for the unexpected. Your travel plan is an investment of not just money but time too, protect it with Travel Insurance Master!

Great info! I didn't realize US updated their requirements and list of travel countries. I feel like insurance is just so important nowadays!
Thanks so much for sharing this information! It's been difficult to keep up with the everchanging state of Covid rules and requirements lately; this is very useful. Xx Sara
There are so many rules and rule changes to keep a track of at the moment - it certainly makes it hard. But at the same time, I'm willing to put in the effort, if it means travelling again :-)
There are so many new updates all the time that I'm sure a lot of people don't know where they're up to with everything. This is a handy guide so thanks for sharing!
